TCG Market is built on trust between collectors, players, and traders. These guidelines keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Our Values

TCG Market exists to make buying and selling trading cards in Australia simple, safe, and fair. Our community is strongest when members are honest, respectful, and accountable to one another. These guidelines define the standard of conduct we expect from everyone.

Honesty and Authenticity

  • Be truthful in your listings, messages, and reviews
  • Only sell items you genuinely own and can ship
  • Represent card condition accurately — describe flaws honestly
  • Never sell counterfeit, proxy, or altered cards without clear disclosure
  • Do not manipulate pricing to deceive buyers or game platform metrics

Respectful Communication

All communication on TCG Market — messages, offers, reviews, and reports — must be civil and professional. The following is never acceptable:

  • Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any user
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or slurs based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or any protected characteristic
  • Sending unsolicited or abusive messages to other users
  • Sharing another user's personal information without consent
  • Retaliatory negative reviews intended to harm rather than inform

Fair Trading

  • Complete transactions you agree to — do not commit to buy or sell and then ghost
  • Do not attempt to arrange off-platform deals to avoid fees or protections
  • Do not manipulate or spam the offer system to disrupt a seller
  • Do not create fake accounts to inflate your own reputation or damage others'

Reporting and Moderation

If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the Report button on any listing, profile, or message. Our moderation team reviews all reports and will take appropriate action.

Consequences for violations range from warning and content removal through to temporary suspension and permanent account bans, depending on severity and history.

Account Integrity

  • One account per person — multiple accounts are prohibited
  • Do not use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the platform
  • Do not share account credentials with other people
  • If your account is compromised, contact support immediately
