Buying

How do I buy a card?+

Browse the marketplace or use search/filters to find what you're looking for. Click a listing to view it, then click 'Buy Now' to proceed to checkout, or 'Make Offer' to negotiate a price with the seller. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

Am I protected if the item isn't as described?+

Yes. All purchases are covered by TCG Market Buyer Protection. If the item doesn't match the listing, hasn't arrived, or arrives damaged, open a dispute within the eligible window and we'll investigate and issue a refund if warranted.

Can I negotiate the price?+

Yes — many sellers accept offers. Click 'Make Offer' on any listing to propose a price. The seller can accept, decline, or counter your offer. Accepted offers create a binding purchase.

How long will delivery take?+

Sellers are required to ship within 3 business days of receiving payment. Delivery times vary by carrier and location — generally 1–7 business days within Australia. You can track your order from your Orders page once a tracking number is added.

What if my order doesn't arrive?+

If your order hasn't arrived within 14 business days of the expected delivery date, first message the seller. If unresolved after 48 hours, open a dispute through your Order page. You are protected under our Buyer Protection policy.

Selling

How do I start selling?+

Create an account, verify your email, then go to 'Sell' in your dashboard. Connect your Stripe account to receive payouts, then click 'New Listing' to create your first listing. It takes about 5 minutes.

What fees does TCG Market charge?+

TCG Market charges a percentage-based platform fee on each completed sale. The fee is deducted before your payout is released. See our Pricing page for the current fee schedule. There are no listing fees or monthly subscriptions.

When do I get paid?+

Payouts are released after the buyer confirms receipt of the item, or after the dispute window closes (whichever is sooner). Funds are sent to your connected Australian bank account via Stripe. Processing typically takes 2–5 business days.

What if a buyer claims an item is not as described?+

If a dispute is opened, TCG Market will contact you for evidence (photos, shipping information, messages). Our team reviews all evidence from both sides and makes a fair decision. Honest, well-documented listings protect you in disputes.

Can I sell sealed product?+

Yes. Sealed booster boxes, ETBs, booster packs, and other sealed products are welcome on TCG Market. All sealed product must be genuinely factory sealed. Resealed product is prohibited and will result in account suspension.

Payments

What payment methods are accepted?+

TCG Market accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported on compatible devices.

Is my payment information secure?+

Yes. Payment card details are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security available. TCG Market never stores your raw card number.

What happens to my money if a dispute is raised?+

Funds are held by TCG Market during an active dispute and are not released to the seller until the dispute is resolved. If the dispute is decided in the buyer's favour, a full or partial refund is issued.

Accounts

How do I verify my email?+

After sign-up, check your email for a verification link from TCG Market. Click the link to verify your account. If you didn't receive the email, check your spam folder or use the 'Resend Verification' option on the verification page.

Can I change my username?+

Usernames cannot be changed after account creation to maintain trust and prevent impersonation. Your display name (shown publicly) can be updated at any time from your Profile settings.

How do I reset my password?+

Click 'Forgot your password?' on the login page and enter your email address. We'll send a secure reset link. The link expires after 1 hour. If you have access to your account, you can also change your password from Account Security settings.

How do I delete my account?+

You can request account deletion from your Account Security page. Note that active orders and open disputes must be resolved before deletion. Transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax compliance purposes.
