Prohibited Items

Counterfeit and Fake Cards

The sale of counterfeit, proxy, or otherwise reproduced cards is strictly prohibited unless:

• ›The listing is clearly and prominently labelled as a "proxy" or "custom art" card
• ›The price clearly reflects the non-authentic nature of the item
• ›No attempt is made to misrepresent authenticity in the title, description, photos, or condition

Selling counterfeit cards as genuine is a criminal offence under Australian law. TCG Market cooperates with law enforcement and IP rights holders to investigate such listings.

Items That Are Prohibited Outright

• ›Cards or products that are stolen or obtained through fraud
• ›Items subject to active Australian import restrictions
• ›Digital assets, codes, or accounts for other platforms listed as physical cards
• ›Personal information about other users
• ›Any item that violates Australian federal or state laws

Graded Cards — Special Rules

Graded card listings must accurately state the grading company (PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, etc.) and the exact grade shown on the slab. Photographs must show the slab clearly. Do not list a card with one grading company's name in the title and a different slab in the photos.

Cracked slabs — where the card has been removed from the grading case — must be clearly labelled as such. The original grade may no longer be valid and cannot be represented as the current condition.

Altered Cards

Altered cards (cards with custom art, inked borders, etc.) are permitted only if:

• ›Clearly identified as "altered" in the listing title and description
• ›Photos clearly show the alteration
• ›The listing is categorised appropriately

Altered cards may not be submitted for grading while listed on TCG Market unless already in a graded slab prior to any alteration.

Sealed Product Integrity

Sealed products (booster boxes, ETBs, booster packs) must be genuinely factory sealed. Resealed product — packaging that has been opened and resealed — is prohibited and constitutes fraud. We actively check for and remove resealed product listings.

Reporting Prohibited Listings

If you see a listing that violates these policies, please use the "Report" button on the listing page. We review all reports and take action typically within 24 hours. Reporting in good faith is always appreciated and helps keep the marketplace clean.
